Great game!
This is a great turn based game. If you liked hoplite, you will love this game! The animations and sounds, are really nice. You can have at least two people in your party. The items you find in chests are fun to use. Over all this is a gem of a game!
Hoplite plus other good stuff
Its like some too Hoplite, put it in a big old pot and simmered it with Diablo, Zelda, and The Lost Vikings. This is a wonderful turn based strategy game that is the perfect pick-up-and-play phone game. The translation, graphics, and touch controls need some tweaks, but thats all easy housekeeping stuff.
Good!!!
I like this. It reminds me of Auro and Hoplite. Love the 8bit art style!!!
fun little rpg/tbs game
Scratching the same itch when I play Pixel Dungeon, Tales of a Viking is a fun turn-based-strategy game. Hope he keeps improving over time, love playing a level or two during breaks or downtime. pixelization on the gameboard/playing field is a little busy and distracting, would prefer being able to see special items more clearly (ex. dropped axe), but far from a dealbreaker. Recommended, and enjoy!
Fantastic!
This is a great mix of RTS and rogue like rpg elements wrapped in a wonderful Viking setting. Provides for either quick or prolonged sessions and has great replay value. Love it!
